The big switchover from analogue to digital was coming – and Britain needed to know about it. So, following a three-way pitch, we were tasked with creating a suite of engaging and educating marketing materials for Digital UK.
All the communications we designed and produced had to be instantly recognisable and consistent with Digital UK’s other materials. So everything – from ceiling hangers, retail banners and product stickers, to information leaflets, posters and DM – featured its campaign mascot, Digit Al, set against a shocking pink background. People couldn’t help but notice them!
We also used the World Cup to increase retail sales of new digital-ready equipment, with the energetic tagline – ‘Get set, go digital’.
The campaign reached millions of people across the UK and resulted in a seamless switchover.
